Steampunk Octopus Bank

Perhaps influenced by Jules Verne, the octopus has become a mascot to the world of steampunk. One theory has it originating from the legendary Kraken from Norse fables, a sea monster that would engulf ships with its powerful tentacles. Or maybe it just arose from the fact that octopi are powered by water, like steam engines. Whatever story you choose to believe, we are pleased to add a cool, new 3D designer to our shop, Fate’s End, with this awesome steampunk octopus bank created with the industrial revolution movement in mind. The octopus, wearing a trademark gas mask helmet, features rivets, bolts, valves and flowing, elegant tentacles covered in suction cups. There is a removable stopper in the base. These octopi are unique desk accessories as well as functional pieces that save and organize loose change. A perfect gift for science fiction and Victorian era lovers.
